Hi, in 2024 I started using the Cafros booms Escape Free & Power Wave, both with Severne boomhead. I mainly sail on the Northsea and Waddensea around the island of Texel, also in winter, and the waters can be treacherous. I need total reliability from my windsurfing gear and I don't need to worry about my Cafros booms. Bulletproof, beautifully made and a great outline for my freeriding / freerace sails (Escape Free) and wavesails (Power Wave). Yannis was very professoinal and helpful during the ordering proces and both booms arrived without issues on Texel. Totally recommendable. Bart, Texel, Holland.

I initially bought the power wave 25HS and after getting my hands on it and after some sessions, I immediately ordered the 25 SS too! It's geometry and stiffness are incredible! I've been using them for almost two years and both the boom and their grip are as good as new. I strongly recommend them!

Cafro Is the best boom. The build quality is top; it has wear-resistant boom grip in the exposed areas, zero unnecessary movement in the boom head and it is stiff. The stiffness compared to my old carbon boom was surprisingly high and it took me a while to get used to it on the smallest sails (3.1-3.4-3.7). On sails from 4.2 and larger I enjoy the stiffness of the cafro even more, it feels sharp and precise. The service from Yannis in connection with the purchase of the boom has been absolutely fantastic. He has answered all my questions in detail and followed up on the shipment until it was delivered to my door.

Incredible performance. These booms bring out the maximum power and information a sail can provide. Hands down the best investment in terms of equipment upgrade.

Best bump and jump boom i ever had....and i used a lot different booms. Quality is extreme high. Use it now a couple of years and it is still like New.

Best boom ever. Even on my 7.0 full slalom sail the boom does what it needs to do. And What it does, does it better than all the carbon booms i had in the past.

Used to be owner of Gun , Simmer and AL360 for riding some waves or having some basic freestyIe so I can say Cafros is Just perfect . Nothing less. Unbelievable low weight, Unbelievable stiffness, super response , super feeling when riding, bulletproof ,nothing can brake it. I wish I could give 6stars instead of 5.

Owner of both the ControlWave and PowerWave booms. Since I got the PowerWave I stopped breaking booms! The PowerWave gives a powerful profile to the sail and is super rigid and stable even when used at near full extension to host my 5.7, either for wave or freestyle sessions. The ControlWave is super rigid and stable too, while giving lesser profile to the sail. It delivers more control and a feeling of forgiveness when things do not work out my way while waveriding or mainly when I use it with my 3.2 & 3.7 in fully overpowering conditions! BY FAR THE BEST BOOMS money can buy !

When you change from an aluminum to a carbon boom you feel the difference ! Similar difference I felt when I switched from mass-produced carbon booms to my Cafros boom (!)(!)(!) Recommended 200%

My "GNRT" boom for Generation of Speed. Do-it-all boom for side-on to side-off, ideal for lighter conditions and heavier riders (not exclusively though). With a bodyweight of 72kgr I use the GNRT in WA and my homespots in Sourth West and North Crete. Again, no compromise in performance and durability custom built to riders' needs. For me it is the best or nothing.

CTRL: The boom to control speed and rail engagement in side to side-off DTL waveriding. In a word: an "extension" to my arms. At a bodyweight of 72kgr I use it mainly for DTL in Mauritius. No compromise custom performer with durability tailored to riders' needs. Second to none! For me it is the best or nothing.

Best boom I’ve ever sailed with. I used a AL360 carbon slim in the past and before that I used NP x9 carbon booms. The Cafrosboom has a rock solid connection w the mast and together with the carbon stiffnes in the boom every gust feels like the sail is loading up. It is a feeling I only had in the past with race sails. I like the boom grip very much which seem to provide a longer duration for wear and tear compared w the other booms I’ve used. All parts of the boom are of high quality plus the loop and go at the clew is very nice. All in all, an amazing boom that delivers and makes you ”own” the session where your confidence level increases as the entire rig feels stable even in very gusty conditions.

First of all.. communication, advise and talking about details as colour etc deserves a 10. Never experienced such a friendly and helpful surf-partner. So that as a starter! I ordered as a heavy rider the strongest power wave 145. I need a boom I can trust 150% because because Texel (where I live) can be quite dangerous with currents, cold water in winter and waves... I used a lot off carbon booms the last years from big brands; Point 7, Severne, Dynafiber etc. But really; not one of those brands reaches the quality of my Cafros boom. And especially pricewise makes it evene more sensible choice for me. The boom itself is the most stiffest and secure one I used in my 40 years of windsurfing. The sail and boom are fully connected and there is no delay or so between your hands and the sail. Feels a bit like it is one piece. Direct feeling, no bending, no sounds and no blisters after a long day is also very nice. Boom is light and strong. For me it is the perfect boom for my wave equipment; I use North Wave 2024 (4.2/4.7/5.3 and 5.8). All fits on 1 boom. also with the maximum length the boom feels stiff and secure. I really can't say anything other then above. For me it is the perfect boom! Ef Charisto to Greece -;)
